Meet Idalia, a resilient and heartwarming 1 1/2-year-old American Foxhound and Beagle mix, currently in search of her forever home. Weighing in at 40lbs, Idalia's journey to The London Sanctuary is a tale of strength and survival.

️ Idalia, along with her newborn puppies, who was a stray, found refuge in Live Oak, Florida. Just days before a hurricane swept through the region, the family under whose camper she sought shelter had to evacuate, leaving Idalia and her pups in need. Fortunately, The London Sanctuary stepped in to provide the care and support they deserved.

Despite the challenges she faced, Idalia has proven to be a resilient and loving soul. Initially shy but immensely curious, she transforms into a loveable and affectionate companion once she feels comfortable. Idalia's playful spirit shines through when engaging with toys and other dogs, showcasing her friendly and joyful nature.

Idalia has also demonstrated her compatibility with feline friends, making her an ideal addition to homes with cats. With a calm and laidback demeanor, she is a total sweetheart with gorgeous long ears that add to her charm.

Not only is Idalia a loving companion, but she also seems to be potty trained with no reported accidents. Additionally, she is crate trained, showcasing her adaptability and good behavior.

Currently fostered in Jacksonville, Florida, Idalia is ready to embark on the next chapter of her life. The adoption fee of $250 covers spaying, microchipping, and all vaccines. Idalia is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all prevention measures.

The adoption process at The London Sanctuary includes non-negotiable home visits, ensuring a seamless transition for both Idalia and her new family. If you're ready to welcome this resilient and loving soul into your home, contact The London Sanctuary to meet Idalia and make her a cherished part of your family.
