Introducing Morticia "Mama Tish" the Beagle!

Morticia, affectionately known as Mama Tish, is a remarkable 2.5-year-old Beagle who came into our lives in a heartbreaking way. She arrived in rescue after being abandoned, with her newborn puppies, in a crate on the side of a rural road. Since then, we have been fortunate to witness her incredible resilience and loving nature.

At first, Mama Tish may seem a bit reserved, as she takes her time to warm up and build trust. But once she opens her heart to you, she will undoubtedly win you over with her affectionate and loyal nature. She cherishes being close to her loved ones and will happily snuggle up to you, melting your heart in the process.

Food is undoubtedly one of Mama Tish's greatest joys in life. Mealtime is a time of excitement, and she gets positively thrilled when it's time to eat. Treats have a magical power to win her affection, and they can easily become the key to her heart—quite literally!

An adventurer at heart, Mama Tish absolutely adores the dog park as well as leisurely walks, relishing in the plethora of scents and experiences that the outside world has to offer. When it comes to walking, Mama Tish is a joy to be with. She walks politely on a leash however, it's important to note that she should never be off-leash as she is prone to running away due to her skittishness. She has also grasped a few basic commands, such as "sit" and "come here mama."

Mama Tish would thrive in a home with a yard as she revels in spending time outdoors. Although indoors, she is a well-behaved angel, never causing any trouble, having never had a potty accident or chewed on anything she shouldn't so she can be left loose or crated without any issues.

This lovely Beagle is a social butterfly in canine circles, who gets along famously with other dogs. In fact, she has formed an strong bond with her foster brother, Anderson Pooper. They engage in non-stop play, showcasing her friendly and sociable nature. If you're considering adopting two dogs, Mama Tish would love to have a playmate!

n her interactions with other animals and children, Mama Tish has shown a remarkable level of tolerance and respect. She ignores cats and has had positive experiences with children between the ages of 8 and 12. Her gentle nature shines through when she's around them.

To ensure Morticia’s continued well-being, an adoption fee of $250 covers all necessary vaccines, spaying, and microchipping as well as the Heartworm treatment she received. She is currently being fostered in Jax Beach, FL.
